Marina + Charles

I created a couple of custom backdrop pieces for Marina and Charles’ early September wedding this year. The two were married in Charles’ mother’s backyard in Dundee, and it couldn’t have been a better day for an outdoor ceremony. Marina spent most of the summer training the vines in her mother-in-law’s backyard to grow across the pergola they planned to stand in front of for their vows. Marina commissioned a custom backdrop to bring an extra special something to the nuptial space. I had so much fun working on this piece and working with Marina. I incorporated blush tones in a variety of fibers to match the pink of Marina’s dress for the center piece, and also created two side panels to flank the center banner. The center piece will hang in the couple’s home to serve as a reminder of their special day.
