Join me for a Valentine’s themed ikebana flower workshop at iDLE in Little Bohemia! In the class we’ll be leaning into the traditional Japanese floral discipline ikebana, using fewer stems in a unique flower frog vessel to create a stunning sculptural arrangement using a variety of foliage and flowers with a nod to Valentine’s day. Ikebana is a slow, meditative process—we will be discussing the different design techniques to achieve height, movement and interest in our arrangements. Everything you need for the class will be provided to you.

Our vessels for this class were made by Mindful Cements, an AAPI woman-owned artisan homedecor studio based in Los Angeles. Vessels are made using eco-friendly, sustainable concrete. All pieces are finished with a 0-VOC non-toxic, pet, and plant friendly sealer.

REFUND POLICY: Full refunds can be issued upon request up to 14 days before the workshop. Partial refunds of 50% can be issued up to 3 days before the workshop. No refunds will be issued 72 hours prior to workshop. Each class requires a variety of materials to be purchased/ordered in advance and pars are based on the number of attendees.
