BANDITS bandanas
BANDITS bandanas are made in India from 100% organic cotton and measure 21” x 21”. Each bandana is designed by a different artist with a portion of proceeds from each bandana benefitting a charity of the artists’ choice.
”Warm Swims” bandana designed by Claudia Osborn. 10% goes to Bush Heritage Australia. Bush Heritage Australia is an independent not-for-profit that buys and manages land, and also partners with Aboriginal people, to conserve Australia’s magnificent landscapes and it’s irreplaceable native species forever.
”Remember You Are On Stolen Land” bandana designed by Helday De La Cruz. 10% goes to Pueblo Unido. Pueblo Unido provides legal service navigation, client advocacy, and financial assistance to immigrants facing detention and deportation in the Pacific Northwest. They help people obtain legal aid and gather supporting evidence to present the strongest possible case against deportation.
”Breaking Waves” bandana designed by Miles Tewson. 10% goes to Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation. On April 22, 1993 at the age of just 18, Stephen Lawrence was murdered in Southeast London in an unprovoked racist attack. After the initial police investigation, five suspects were arrested but not convicted. A public inquiry into the handling of Stephen’s case was held in 1998, and led profound cultural changes in attitudes to racism, to the law and to police practice. Stephen Lawrence Day was first celebrated in 2019 and takes place annually on 22 April, the date of Stephen’s death. The Day is marked officially in the British calendar as a celebration of Stephen’s life and legacy.
