Loaded up the ole Subaru last week and took off for the mountains with my honey and our pup. We spent some time camping in Zapata Falls, hiking the Great Sand Dunes and lazing in a hot tub outside of Salida. I didn’t take many photos and kept my phone locked in the glove compartment for most of our trip, but managed to snag a few goodies. If you’re ever in or near Salida, I would highly recommend renting a cabin at Creekside Chalets and checking out the cute shops and eats Salida has to offer. Camping friends; Zapata Falls Campground is an absolute must. You’re welcome :)
